Today I got an email from Microsoft congratulating for the MVP renew. That’s already 5 years as Microsoft MVP in Virtual Machine.

Congratulations! We are pleased to present you with the 2013 Microsoft® MVP Award! This award is given to exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others. We appreciate your outstanding contributions in Virtual Machine technical communities during the past year.

It is an honour to be part of this unique group. Thank you Ben!

2012 was a busy and challenger year. Full on :)

I will start from the 2012 MVP summit, where we had great sessions, and then with the System Center TAP program, which gave me precious access to the SP1 version as well to meetings and docs. I would like to thank the System Center team for the huge opportunity.

In the work side, working as Dell Consultant, I led successful enterprise projects across APJ, spanning from virtualisation, exchange and O365 migrations. All of them with great and positive feedbacks from customers and team mates.

With the lunch of Windows 2012 and System Center, we had a lot to work and learn through the year.

I delivered 3 ILL sessions at Teched Australia in Gold Coast and I delivered 18 sessions in events Australia wide (Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth) and for that I would like to thank Veeam for their sponsorship and Dell (specially my manager) for their support. Lots of positive feedbacks.20130102-213926.jpg20130102-214124.jpg

I reviewed the Windows 2012 Hyper-V Cookbook for my friend Leandro Carvalho, which I recommend you to buy at http://www.packtpub.com/windows-server-2012-hypervisor-based-cookbook/book

And to close with a gold key, I manage to finish writing my own book : System Center 20012 SP1 Cookbook : build you own private cloud. The book is now under review and I expect it to be published very soon. So, keep looking in my blog for more news about that.

Tomorrow, I will be back from my short leave. 2013 is promising….

Wishing you all, a happy and prosperous New Year J
